If I could have a conversation with my French Bulldog， Bob， it would go something like the following (and keep in mind as you read， this Frenchie speaks with a South American accent because he was born in Colombia)：custom wedding gifts
Me： Bob get out of the cat’；s food.
Bob： I need foods， all the foods. Did you know there is extra foods in that bag right over there？
Me： Bob， please scoot over； my leg is falling asleep and your body heat is making me feel like I’；m having hot flashes!
Bob： I’；m going to lay on you until you feed me. I don’；t want to miss any of the delicious foods you might have.
Me： Bob， get off the dining room table! How do you get on a 4 foot table with 4 inch legs？
Bob： But mother， I was only cleaning up everyone’；s dinner scraps…；and I see the cat get on the table ALL the time.
Me： Oh goodness， what’；s that smell？
Bob： What？ Ohaccent pillow case baby burlap， that…； You remember those extra tacos I stole from the table？ They aren’；t agreeing with my delicate digestive system. Could you lay off the pepper next time？ By the way， I need to…；oh…；excuse me!
Me： Why is it 900 degrees in my bed？ (Goes to throw covers in the floor only to realize they’；re anchored down…；)
Bob： Oh， good， you are awake! I saw a boogie man under the bed， and I was just trying to keep you safe and warm. But now that I think about it， it might have been the cat.
Me： Bob! You JUST went outside for a long walk. What is THAT on my rug？
Bob： Um…；the Bob forgot to do something while he was outside. It’；s ok， I put it next to the door for you. By the way， I blame the tacos.
I love my frenchie， but he’；s a different kind of dog. He’；s very needy， slightly neurotic， and he has a face that only a mother could love. His life revolves around food and so does his behavior.
Our dogs and cat are very much a part of our family. They each have their own personalities and needs. Bob is by far the neediest in the bunch. He’；s also the pickiest eater. He doesn’；t tolerate food changes well， despite the fact that he looks and acts like he’；s half pig (or possibly goat). We have to be very conscious of when we feed him， what we feed him， and how much we feed him. Even slight variations can cause major problems. (Think lots and lots of paper towels.) We try to find foods that work for both Chief， who is a little picky himself， and Bob， and when we find a food that they will both eat， it’；s like winning the jackpot. They prefer (and do better on) a grain free dog food. The dogs were super excited to try the Rachael Ray？ Nutrish？ Zero Grain Beef with Bison Dry Dog Food. They could smell it as soon as I opened the package. I was a little excited too because they sent the humans a surprise too， a gorgeous Rachael Ray cutting board and knife set.

Here’；s a tip to help make your pet’；s Halloween a little safer and less stressful：
My latest conversation with Bob：
Bob： Mom， I love my Rachel Ray Nutrish Dog Food but can I still go trick-or-treating？ I think I would be a good Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon
Me： Yes Bob， but I get to keep your candy and you do resemble Toothless.
Bob： (Under his grumbling under his breath) well…； I can chew up your new shoes
Me： What did you say Bob？
Bob： I love you Mom.
Do you ever take your pet(s) trick-or-treating？

I promised my friend Anna I would making stockings for her kids. ?Umm, Christmas is in three days, oops! ?So I used our Christmas Stocking Pattern & Tute, but I skipped the layering, batting, and quilting and just went straight from cutting out the pattern to sewing it into a stocking, then added the bias tape on top and called it a day!15 minutes. Sorry Anna… but they still turned out aight, right? The trick is using a stiffer fabric, in this case Anna Maria Horner’s ridik gorg Innocent Crush Velveteen in Maybe Memory?from Fabricworm. ?BUT if you don’t have any luxurious velveteen lying around, recycling an old curtain?or some tea towels?would work well. ?If your fabric isn’t stiff enough just iron on some fusible interfacing. Then hang by the chimney with care…Voila! Get the full free?Christmas Stocking Pattern and Tute here.
